What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company, country, the topic you chose and your message. The web server also records your IP address in its access logs, and the form stores a one-way hash of the IP address for up to one hour to limit spam.
Why we process it
We use these details to answer your enquiry and, if you want to continue, to prepare an offer and manage the customer relationship. The legal basis is your consent given in the form and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (f)).
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship are deleted within 24 months. If you become a customer, the data moves to our customer records and is kept for as long as the relationship and accounting law require.
Who can see it
Messages are delivered by email to our sales team. We use service providers for hosting and email, who process the data on our behalf under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
This site sets one technically necessary session cookie that protects the contact form against forged submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser. The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sales@pilvi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi).
